Whistleblower and Human Rights Defender:-A Call to ActionIn a world where the voices of many are often silenced out by the noise of complacency, I stand firm in my belief that each individual has the power to instigate change. As a whistleblower and human rights defender, I recognize my right to speak out against injustices and advocate for a better society. It is with this conviction that I declare my intention to run as a candidate for the first presidency of the Netherlands. This idea is not merely a fleeting thought; it is a vision rooted in my commitment to freedom of thought and action.According to the latest data from Statistics Netherlands (CBS), as of January 2021, the population of the Netherlands is approximately 17.5 million. This includes both Dutch nationals and residents of other nationalities living in the country. The Essence of Leadership and ChangeWhile I may not fully subscribe to traditional notions of leadership, I understand that if we are to navigate the complexities of our society, we must embrace roles that allow us to influence positive transformation. The current state of affairs compels me to take action rather than remain passive. Complaining about systemic issues or participating in protests often leads only to chaos without constructive outcomes. Instead, I choose visibility—sharing my thoughts and ideas openly with peace as my guiding principle.Netherlands + wealth
The percentage of Dutch people struggling can vary depending on the specific criteria used to define “struggling.” However, according to a report by the Netherlands Institute for Social Research (SCP), around 7% of households in the Netherlands were living below the poverty line in 2019. This equates to roughly 600,000 people experiencing financial difficulties.*Total Money Present in the Netherlands"As of 2020, the total GDP of the Netherlands was estimated to be around €900 billion. This figure represents the value of all goods and services produced within the country’s borders over a specific period.Total Number of Houses in the NetherlandsThe total number of houses in the Netherlands is constantly changing due to construction, demolition, and other factors. As per recent estimates from CBS, there were approximately 7.9 million residential properties in the Netherlands as of January 2021.
A Wake-Up Call: Be the Change You Wish to SeeIt is time for all of us to stop complaining about our circumstances. If we desire change, we must embody that change ourselves. This message resonates deeply within me; it serves as both an inspiration and a wake-up call for others who feel similarly disillusioned by the status quo. My journey has taught me that one person can indeed make a significant impact—consider the legacies of visionaries like Nikola Tesla and Elon Musk, whose innovative ideas have reshaped our understanding of technology and possibility.Personal Transformation Through ExperienceMy experiences, including several near-death experiences (NDEs), have profoundly influenced my perspective on life and purpose. These moments have reinforced my belief that waiting for change is futile; instead, we must actively pursue it. I am committed to doing everything within my power to be an agent of change—not just for myself but for all those who yearn for a better future.A Collective Movement Towards ChangeAs I embark on this journey toward candidacy, I invite others who share this vision to join me in creating a movement grounded in hope, action, and collective responsibility. Together, we can challenge the norms that bind us and forge a path toward a more equitable society where every voice matters.

Persbericht
Right to Housing in the Netherlands and Addressing the ShortageIn the Netherlands, the right to housing is a fundamental principle enshrined in various legal documents, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) and the Dutch Constitution. The UDHR, specifically Article 25, recognizes housing as a basic human right, stating that everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for health and well-being, including housing.Challenges with Housing Shortages in the NetherlandsDespite these principles, the Netherlands faces challenges with housing shortages, particularly in major cities like Amsterdam and Utrecht. The demand for housing exceeds supply, leading to long waiting lists for affordable housing options. Dutch citizens often have to wait for years before securing suitable accommodation, impacting their quality of life and well-being.Government Initiatives and PoliciesTo address this issue, the Dutch government has implemented various initiatives and policies aimed at increasing the availability of affordable housing. These include investing in social housing projects, promoting sustainable urban development, and encouraging public-private partnerships to boost construction rates.Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) on Right to HousingThe UDHR’s Article 25 states that everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for health and well-being, including housing. This principle emphasizes the importance of ensuring access to affordable and suitable housing for all individuals.Dutch Constitution on Right to HousingThe Dutch Constitution also upholds the right to housing indirectly through provisions related to social security and welfare. While it does not explicitly mention housing as a fundamental right, it establishes a framework for ensuring social protection and well-being for all citizens. In conclusion, addressing the shortage of houses in the Netherlands requires a comprehensive approach that combines legal frameworks like the UDHR and national policies focused on increasing affordable housing options. By prioritizing access to adequate housing for all individuals, the Dutch government can work towards fulfilling its obligations under international human rights standards.
